Robert Paige Miller (4,000 decimal places)




Robert Paige Miller, a New York high school student, wrote Pi to 4,000 decimal places in 7 hours on April 12, 1976.

The 1977 edition of the 'Guinness Book of Records' listed him as record holder, while the french edition of the same year listed Simon Plouffe (4,096 decimal places on December 4, 1975) as the record holder.
